Somerset is a traditional printmaking paper suitable for a wide variety of traditional printmaking techniques. The surface of the paper has been made to be slightly absorbent to ensure the ink adheres to the sheet.

Available in five surfaces, Book, Text Laid, Satin, Velvet and Textured Physical Characteristics * on 560 x 760mm & 760 x 1120mm sheet sizes, other sizes have 2 deckle edges

Rigorous quality control checks are routinely carried out during every making to ensure the paper is made to the highest standard. St Cuthberts Mill is regulated by ISO9001:2000. Handling
Handle the paper by the edges to avoid touching the surface due to be printed. The surface of the paper is most vulnerable when wet and should be handled with care.
